Seersucker is one of the most popular looks in the spring and summer, and for good reason. It's made by bunching the threads together so the fabric falls more loosely on your skin, keeping you cool. For a twist on the traditional blue seersucker, Southern Proper offers their shorts in several different colors, including this unique green pair.

The 9" length is a great length for everyday wear (at 6'1" shorter shorts can sometimes be too short, not that we don't push it, like here and here). These shorts are also lighter weight than the traditional Stanton short, which makes them perfect for those especially warmer days. Coming home from a long/stressful day of work and changing into comfortable clothes is one of those small but exciting things you look forward to when working the 9 to 5 grind. Lately, I find myself repeatedly reaching for my Greater Than Sports (GTS) shorts, from a growing clothing brand started by twenty-somethings based in Saratoga, NY (near my hometown) with a cool story and outlook.
