As we reluctantly (and slowly) ease into fall, one thing making the transition easier is seeing our inbox flooded with new release emails. One email that stood out was from Warby Parker, which makes stylish, unique and extremely affordable glasses (prescription lenses are included in the prices below). Our two favorite new pairs are below, but you can see the full fall collection for men here.
First up is the Durand Whiskey Tortoise glasses ($95), which feature round and wide lenses. They come in three colors, but for these frames, we like whiskey tortoise. Not sure if they would be flattering for every face, but love the scholarly look of them. I picture them on someone with a very collegiate look- cable knit v-neck sweaters, tweed jackets and chinos.
We also really like the Baxter Ti Sugar Maple glasses ($145), with square lenses and titanium accents. They seem more modern the the Durand pair, and for these we like the warmer sugar maple color. The square shape of the lenses also seems to be flattering on more people and an easier look to pull off.
Although I wear contacts most of the time, I've been needing a new pair of glasses for a while now (the scratched pair that's at least four years old should probably not be worn in public). Warby Parker allows you to try 5 free at home before buying (with free shipping both ways), like I did with my Warby Parker sunglasses earlier this summer, helping you easily find the right pair in the comfort of your home.
